Indians win 9-3 over the Jordan Brewers
The Shakopee Indians overcame an early 3-1 deficit to win this game 9-3. After the Indians took a 1-0 lead on an Aaron Olson 2 out single the Brewers responded with 3 runs in the top of the 2nd off of Indians hurler John Hellkamp. Shakopee answered with 3 of their own in the bottom of the 3rd when Zak Hoffman launched a missle high into the night and over the leftfield fence for a 3 run homer.
The Shako bats plated 2 more in the 4th on a 2 out rally finished by a 2 run Mark Dolenc single. Aaron Olson hit a solo shot in the 5th and the Indians cruised to the victory from there.
Ole led the hitters with 4 safeties and 2 ribbies. Hoffman finished with 3 hits and 4 ribbies while Dolenc knocked in 2.
The Indians used 3 hurlers for the game with Hellkamp tossing the first 4 innings. Zach Bohar threw 2 scoreless innings and picked up the victory while Patrick Lenton went the final 3 scoreless innings to snatched the save.
