WP: #16 Andy Gibart, LP: #10 T.J. Larson, SP: -
Looking to move up in the Section 3 standings, Shakopee needed to continue playing good baseball vs Prior Lake. The boys came out swinging. Scoring 11 times in the first three innings highlighted by 8 consecutive hits in the 3rd, the Indians had things looking like this would be a quick contest.
Andy Gibart toed the rubber for the Indians and kept the Jay batters off balance until the fifth inning. The Jays had 6 consecutive hitters reach base in the fifth climbing their way out of the 11-0 hole they started in. Gibby found his groove again after the fifth and kept the Jays hopes of getting any closer at bay.
Gibart went 6 innings before giving way to Nate Brown for the final 3 frames.
