After a week and a half off, the Indians faced Anoka for the first time in 62 years. This one was a pitchers dual. The Bucs put across a run in the first, but Chris Rupert, starting pitcher for Shakopee, settled down and didn't allow another run until the 7th. Shakopee failed to score a run until the 7th when Mark Dolenc and Aaron Olson crossed the plate on an RBI ground out by Dominick Schleper and a wild pitch.
The game went to extras as neither team was able to score in the 8th or 9th. In the bottom of the 10th, Kyle Ryan reached when he was hit by a pitch. This was followed by a John Hellkamp single on a hit and run which moved Ryan to third. Hellkamp took second on the throw and there were runners on second and third with no outs. Dolenc was intentionally walked to load the bases. Aaron Olson came through with an RBI single to give the Indians the victory, their 5th in a row.
