WP: Andy Gibart, LP: Bryce Bellin
Shakopee matched with the Mankato Twins for their 2nd section game of the year. Andy Gibart took the mound for the Indians and was stellar. Gibart allowed 2 runs in the first inning, only 1 of them earned and that was the way the game remained until the 5th when Kyle Hoover and Zach Bohar were hit by pitches to start the inning. Dominick Schleper reached on an error and Kyle Ryan and Brandon Olson knocked in a run each to tie the game at 2. Mark Dolenc stepped up to the plate and drilled a home run just inside the foul pole. The 3 run shot game the Indians a 5-2 lead. The Twins managed to scratch across a run in the 8th and 9th, but it wasn't enough and Gibart went all 9 for the victory. Shakopee is now 2-0 in section 2B games.
