The Indians took on the Cubs from Chaska on a beautiful Father's Day. Chris Rupert started on the mound for Shakopee and pitched well early on allowing just a run in the 2nd. In the 3rd, the Cubs started a snowball fight and when the dust settled, Shakopee had 4 runs on 2 hits with the Cubs making 3 errors in the inning. In the 5th, Shakopee scored 2 more runs on 3 more Chaska errors, including 2 on 1 play that allowed Kyle Ryan to score from 1st and Brandon Olson to get to 3rd on a grounder to short.
Chaska didn't give up down 6-2 though. In the 8th, they put up 2 runs and in the 9th, they got 3 more after 2 errors by the Indians. In the bottom of the 9th, needing some clutch hits, the Indians got them with a single from Kyle Ryan to put runners on 1st and 2nd after Jake Rhinesmith reached on an error. Mark Dolenc came up big with an RBI single to tie the game. In the 10th, Zach Bohar pitched a scoreless inning and hit a double to lead off the bottom of the frame. Dominick Schleper sacrificed Bohar to 3rd. John Hellkamp came up and delivered the walk off sacrifice fly to give the Indians the 8-7 victory and bring their record to 13-4. Zach Bohar takes the win on the hill. Mark Dolenc and Kyle Ryan each had 3 hits in the game.
