The Indians traveled to Victoria on Friday night for a section game against the Vics. Chris Rupert starting on the hill for Shakopee. The Indians bats started out hot. In the 1st, Mark Dolenc and Aaron Olson hit back to back RBI doubles and the Indians scored another run later in the inning to take a 3-0 lead. The Indians would tack on 2 more in the 3rd inning when Zack Bohar cracked a 2 out RBI double followed by a Dominick Schleper RBI single. In the 5th, Greg Campbell drove in Kyle Hoover for the Indians 6th run of the game. Rupert was on cruise control in this one allowing just 2 runs (1 earned) in the 7th inning. Rupert struck out 6 in 8 innings and Luke Bruss closed the door with a 1-2-3 9th to give the Indians the 6-2 win. Shakopee will take on Chaska in Chaska on Sunday at 6 pm.
