The Shakopee Indians traveled to Chaska for a Sunday evening matchup against the Cubs. Andy Gibart started on the mound for the Indians. The game would stay scoreless through the first 3 innings until in the top of the 4th, Brandon Olson singled, stole 2nd base, and scored on an Aaron Olson single. Ole would score on a Kyle Hoover double that missed being a home run by inches. Chaska would pick up 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th to tie up the game. Gibart pitced 7 stellar innings allowing just the 2 runs on 6 hits. Dane Secott took over in the 8th and gave up 1 run. The Indians came up in the 9th looking to tie the game or take the lead. Aaron Olson reached base and went to second on an error. Alex Bade pinch ran, but was stranded at 3rd and the game ended with Chaska taking the win 3-2. The Indians head to Mankato on Tuesday night to face the Twins.
