The Indians took on the Mankato Twins on Tuesday at Joe Schleper Stadium. Shakopee was the away team in this one as the game got moved to Shakopee when Mankato's field was unplayable due to rain. The Indians got off to a hot start in the 1st when Try Wasiloski drove in Brandon Olson with a single to give the Indians the early lead. The Indians tacked on 3 more in the 4th when Kyle Ryan singled home John Hellkamp. Jake Rhinesmith scored on a wild pitch and Ryan scored on a groundout. In the 4th, Shakopee scored 2 more. Brandon Olson doubled in a run and scored on an Mark Dolenc single. In the 6th, Dolenc came up big with a 3 run shot to give the Indians a 9-0 lead.
Luke Bruss started this game on the hill for the Indians and tossed 7 scoreless innings allowing just 5 hits and picking up 3 strikeouts. Nate Brown shut the door in the last 2 innings and the Indians won 9-0, tying them for 1st in section 3B at 6-4 in section play.
