Game 4: Friday, May 16, 2008
Shakopee Indians won over Fairfax 12-1 in an abbreviated 7 innings game. The Indians had their hitting shoes. Mitch Ries, Aaron Olson, Lance Siedow and Troy Wasiloski had 3 hits each. Troy Wasiloski went 3-5, scored 3 times, totaled 4 RBIs, smashed two doubles but only hit one home run. Shame, shame! Jeremy Imker went 2-3, scored a run, collected a RBI, took one for the team (HP) and sacrificed twice. Mitch Riese had a great night with two RBIs along with his three hits. If the hitting was great, then the pitching was greater. Pitching was in mid season form. Winning pitcher, Kyle Voltin, went three innings. Kyle gave up 1 hit and struck out 5 in three innings. Brett Weigel and Kyle Green went one and two innings respectively and both pitchers gave up no hits. Kyle Green struck out 4 in his quick two innings! Now only if they could repeat effort every time! |
