Shakopee muscles 16 hits!

Green Isle would score in the first, but Shakopee answered in the second with a Mitch Ries double and a Brannon Weigel single RBI.

The score was tied at 1-1 until Shakopee’s Aaron Olson smashed a homerun to left center.

In the fifth inning, the Green Isle Irish took advantage of a few Shakopee errors and made the score 4-2.

Kyle Voltin started for the Indians and pitch seven innings with allowing only one earned run.

In the eight inning, Shakopee again put together hits by Ries and Weigel and with two outs, had big hits by Joey Heller and Curt Hartfiel. The score was now tied at 4-4.

In the ninth, Troy Wasiloski led off with a double, followed by a Lance Sideow RBI single and a Brannon Weigel RBI double. Kyle Green closed the door and picked up his second win of the season.
