Chaska veteran pitcher Craig Gralaap and Shakopee’s Dane Secott locked horns in game two of the season series between the Cubs and Indians. Again in this game the fans who showed up late missed out. Shakopee scored first in the top of the first on three consecutive singles by Brandon Olson, Aaron Olson, and Troy Wasiloski. But Chaska would answer in the bottom of the first by a rare homerun to straightaway centerfield in Chaska’s Athletic Park by Cory Gliedin. After that, Secott settled in while the Indians offense knocked the ball around the park but could never get that clutch hit until the 7th. The combo of Wasiloski driving in Brandon Olson strike again, as they did in the first. Brandon led off the inning with a single and two batters later Waz got himself in the triple column driving in Olson.

The score would remain 2-1 going into the bottom of the ninth. Secott trying to close the door on the Cubs but Chaska would score one run to tie the game on a sac fly to right sending the game to extras. Secott would pitch nine complete innings striking out 12 and scattering 6 hits on the night. In the 11th, Brandon Olson would set the table for a third time doubling to right with one out. Like déjà vu of the 7th inning, one batter later, Wasiloski singles home Olson. Chris Baso followed with another RBI single to give the Indians a 4-2 lead. Kyle Green closed the door on the Cubs, pitching one hit ball in the final to innings.

The Indians offense knocked out another 15 hits led by Wasiloski with four and Dan Harris and Brandon Olson each with three knocks.
