Game 17: Tuesday, June 8, 2010
Shakopee stretched their streak of scoring in the first inning to seven games when Aaron Olson hit a two-run homerun in the bottom of the first inning. Shakopee played a very workman-like game on offense and defense doing enough to just get by. While the bats were relatively quiet for the Indians tonight (8 total hits) they did score 6 runs and left only 3 men on base. Offensively it was the AO show after he hit his second two-run homerun of the night in the third. Shako scored two more in the 7th on a leadoff double by Dan Harris followed by a RBI single by Mike Anderson. Joey Heller drove Anderson home on a single two batters later. Nate Brown started for the locals on the mound and looked like the Brownie we like to see tossing 5 shutout innings scattering just 6 hits and striking out 2. Jordan Triestram, Dan Collins and Sam Anderson pitched the last four innings for the Indians.
