Game 24: Friday, June 27, 2008
Green Isle over Shakopee 4-1.

Kyle Voltin

Kyle Green
... pitched 7 innings and gave up only four earned runs. ... pitched two innings without give up a run.

Lance Siedow

Curt Hartfiel
... had two hits for the night. ... two hits and a run scored.

A battle of the arms.

Klye Voltin started on the mound for the Indians and quickly got the first two outs in the first.  Green Isle would a double to the outfield, but Shakopee’s Curt Hartfiel and Aaron Olson made a perfect defensive relay to get the third out at third base.

Offensively for the Indians, Lance Siedow led off the second with a lined single.  Brannon Weigel did his job to advance the runner with a sac bunt, but Lance was left stranded at second.

Shakopee would be the first to score when Curt Hartfiel and Aaron Olson hit back-to-back hits in the third inning.  Facing Green Isle’s ace, the run in the third inning would be the only run Shakopee would get.  Shakopee threatened to score in the fourth and seventh inning, but the big RBI hit was missing.

Kyle Green came to pitch the eighth and ninth inning and did his job to keep the score unchanged.
