Troy Wasiloski

Andrew Zellmann
... smashed a a three-run homerun. ... reached base in all 5 at bats to pace the Tribe with 2 singles, a double and a homerun and also reaching on an error. ... hit a two run single in the fifth inning.

The Indians set the tone for this game early. After Prior Lake retired the first two Indian batters, Aaron Olson drew a walk, Troy Wasiloski singled, and Chris Baso brought them all home with a three-run homerun. That would be all the run support Shakopee starter Dane Secott would need.

Prior Lake had their biggest threat to score in the bottom half of the first with the bases loaded on a single and two walks. However, Secott retired the next two Jay hitters on a popup and a strikeout to end the inning. That would be the last time Prior Lake would get a runner past second base. Secott struck out 7 and walked two in 7 innings of work.

Kyle Green mopped up the last two innings allowing just one hit and striking out 3. Troy Wasiloski reached base in all 5 at bats to pace the Tribe with 2 singles, a double and a homerun and also reaching on an error. Wasiloski’s solo shot in the 3rd made the score 4-0. In the fifth, Andrew Zellmann singled in Aaron Olson and Wasiloski. Shakopee tallied two more in the 6th and a final run in the 8th to make it 9-0.
