Playoff Game 2: Sunday, July 31
The Indians let one slip through their hands tonight losing an extra inning affair 4-3. Missing a clutch hit with runners in scoring position 6 out of 10 innings hurt the local nine. Allowing 12 Jordan runners to gain first base via walk or hit by pitch also hurt although only one of them scored. A couple base running blunders and perhaps a tad over-aggressive base running kept the Indians from getting the big inning rally. Aaron Olson was 3-5 with 3 doubles to pace the offense tonight. The best-of-5 series is now down to a best-of-3 as both teams have held serve on their home field. Game 3 is Tuesday at Shakopee. First pitch is at 7:30.
